Trip planning guide
A private trip built around your dates, group, diet and pace — Bali, Komodo and Raja Ampat in the order that suits you.
Dates and duration
You pick the start and end dates. Most luxury trips run 14 to 21 days, but yours can be shorter or longer.
Add five days in Ubud for wellness and workshops, or an extra week on a private phinisi. For peak season and school holidays, book 6–12 months ahead.
Timing each region
The three regions peak at different times. Your planner lines your dates up with the best conditions for what you want to do.
Galungan in Bali falls in April or October — tell us if you want to be there for it.
Who is travelling
Most bespoke trips carry 2 to 8 guests. Private charters are priced per boat, so a larger group shares the cost.
A small group for company, or fully private with your own guide.
A private beach dinner in Komodo, a dive together in Raja Ampat.
Family suites, kids’ activities on board and nannies on request.
Resort buyouts or several phinisi — up to 16 guests per boat.
Getting between islands
On land: air-conditioned private transfers with professional drivers, or private air charters between islands.
At sea, a private phinisi sets your own pace in Komodo and Raja Ampat, with crew, chef and dive masters on board. Most carry 3–8 cabins for 6 to 16 guests.
Food and drink
Private chefs and resort kitchens build menus around your needs, and around what you simply love.
Milestones and themes
Honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, vow renewals — or a trip themed on what you love most.
A Balinese blessing and a candlelit beach dinner; usually 10–14 days.
Private temple time or a celebration on your yacht deck.
Raja Ampat dive guides and 1,500+ fish species to shoot.
Daily private yoga, spa treatments and plant-based menus.
Waigeo’s jungle, home of the Red Bird-of-Paradise.
Balinese artisans and traditional dance in historic palaces.
Activities and pace
Each day is set to your energy, from sunrise treks to long afternoons by the pool.
Accessibility and comfort
We look for rooms with wider doorways, roll-in showers and grab bars, ground-floor villa suites, and help boarding boats in Komodo. Remote areas have limited infrastructure, so we find the best option available.
Share your needs at the first consultation — ideally 3–6 months ahead — so every adjustment is confirmed in time.
